Prior to co-founding Fern Financial, Bobby performed business development as Director of Wealth Management at a Los Angeles-based wealth management firm. As Director of Wealth Management Bobby played an instrumental role in founding the professional basketball, football, and baseball division of the firm while also establishing the NIL (Name, Image, and Likeness) division for college student-athletes. This new division helped student-athletes, some of whom were coming into large sums of money, learn the financial literacy tools necessary for banking, budgeting, and investing. Earning a Ph.D. from the University of Kansas, Bobby is a strong advocate for making sure all of his clients understand everything that goes on with their money. Bobby believes in the formal and informal role education plays in understanding the financial game. Bobby lives with his wife and his four children in Lawrence, Kansas.
